I'm so glad you're here! I'm Amber, Licensed Esthetician & owner of The Vanity Bar. I specialize in corrective skin care treatments & Brazilian waxing. I was born in Hickory, NC & moved to Bluffton, SC around the age of four. I've called the Lowcountry home ever since. I am married & have two beautiful daughters, Allison & Charlotte. I love what I do, but when I'm not in the treatment room you can find me enjoying the May River with my family, listening to a podcast, reading a book, or catching up on the latest beauty/skin trends. This industry is ever-changing & I'm devoted to staying current with all the new trends, technology & ingredients.

My journey into the beauty world started as being a makeup artist. I love to make people feel beautiful & makeup was always a way for me to achieve that not only for clients but also myself. I have struggled with acne for the majority of my life. After years of concealing it with makeup, I decided I wanted to get to the root of my issues & heal my skin. This was the start of my love for skin care & my true passion - transforming lives.

While facials are relaxing & we all love getting pampered, I do not view them as a luxury. Our skin deserves to be nourished & taken care of just the same as our inside to achieve overall health. Our skin is deeply interconnected with the mind, body & soul, & together we can achieve amazing results. 

I am here to help guide & educate you along your skincare journey, only recommending what you truly need. Skincare is not one size fits all, which is why each client will be given completely customized treatments & home care regimens. You as an individual are unique, & your skin should be treated that way. The Vanity Bar is a safe place to come as you are & find confidence through achieving healthy skin.
